Dragon Ball Z is an anime (cartoon) series from Japan, that actually debuted there in 1984. To date, an overwhelming 500+ episodes of the series were released. The original series, Dragonball, was followed by the sequels: Dragon Ball Z and Dragonball GT. The dragon balls of the title are 7 orbs which, if collected together, spawn a dragon that grants a wish. The animation stars many characters such as Gokou, Vegeta, Gohan & Piccolo.
